Purpose of the Program The Faith Formation Program provides systematic instruction in the Catholic faith in order to prepare students for the reception of the sacraments and to live as faithful members of the Church. The program is designed not only to educate, but to form students spiritually, morally, and intellectually according to the teachings of the Catholic Church. Registration is open until July 31, 2026 At St. Joseph, we affirm the Catholic Doctrine that states that parents are the primary educators of their children, especially when it comes to sharing and passing down the beauty of our Catholic faith. Our homeschool program is designed to empower and support you in this beautiful mission, offering flexibility while keeping your family deeply connected to our parish community. Who can join the Homeschool Program? Anyone is welcome! This program is open to: New students and families joining us for the first time. Returning students who want to transition from classroom-based learning to home-based learning. Families who missed the deadline or were unable to secure a seat in our in-person classes due to limited capacity. How the Program Works: Monthly Mass & Fellowship: Families will gather at the church once a month to attend Mass together and hear a special message from Father. Monthly Material Packets: At this monthly meeting, you will be given a comprehensive packet of materials and lessons to use at home for the following three weeks until we meet again the next month. Assignments & Progress: Some homework may be required to be turned in along the way to ensure your child is staying on track. End-of-Year Assessment: At the conclusion of the formal year, each student will come to the church for a final test to assess their readiness to progress on to the next year of formation.
